ABOUT ME

Odd Jobs

Odd Jobs is a student-powered platform that connects local residents and small businesses with trustworthy college students ready to handle everyday tasks. From yard work to moving assistance, furniture assembly, tutoring, tech help, pet sitting, and house cleaning, our goal is to make it easy to find fast, affordable, and reliable help right from your neighborhood.

We were founded by students who saw two major needs: busy people needing a hand with one-off tasks, and students looking for flexible ways to earn money and build real-world experience. Odd Jobs bridges that gap by creating a simple, secure way for the community to hire dependable, motivated students who are eager to work.

At our core, we believe in the power of hustle, trust, and community. By choosing Odd Jobs, you’re not only getting a job done—you’re supporting local students, fostering connections, and investing in the future workforce.

Let us help you check off your to-do list—one odd job at a time.

KIND WORDS FROM OUR LOCALS

"Odd Jobs embodies the spirit of innovation and community engagement that we encourage here at the University of Tennessee. It’s inspiring to see our students taking the initiative to build a platform that provides real-world experience, flexible work, and meaningful service to the Knoxville community. This is exactly the kind of entrepreneurial thinking we aim to foster."

"As a local business, we’re always looking for dependable help during peak seasons—and Odd Jobs has been a game-changer. The students we’ve hired through the platform were professional, punctual, and eager to learn. It's a win-win: we get quality help, and students gain experience they can use in the future."

"I used Odd Jobs to find a tutor for my accounting class, and it made a huge difference. The student tutor was super helpful and explained things in a way I actually understood. I passed with confidence and now recommend Odd Jobs to all my friends!"
